Remote-controlled filter

Ultramax BT is a new version of our classic, more convenient to control than ever before. You will set all options in this version through your mobile device - smartphone or tablet. Take care of setting the power, flow or switch on without having to go to the aquarium! All you have to do is download and install the AquaEL BT app (check it in your Android or IOS store).

Infinitely adjustable performance

Controlling the performance of the filter is extremely simple and intuitive. You precisely set the desired efficiency level on your phone, and after a while the filter will respond accordingly. The control is smooth - you set the appropriate percentage of the filter output on the easy-to-read axis.

Flexible flow modes

Choose from 4 flow modes, such as constant, pulsed, sinusoidal, or intermittent, adapting the filter's work to the animals and plants in it. Different "ripple" modes allow you to simulate natural environmental conditions. This stimulates fish and plants to healthier growth and improves their welfare.

Filter adapted to daily rhythm

Conditions as in nature - this is the dream of many aquarists. However, can you provide animals and plants close to nature in your home? With the Day & Night Mode it is possible! The Ultramax BT filter allows you to control the power of the flow just like in open tanks, where nighttime ripples differ from daytime ones. All you have to do is specify the hours when you want the filter's operation to be slower, and a mapping of the night will occur. In addition, you can set a softer operation for the time of feeding fish, so as not to put them under additional stress. The filter will gradually begin to reduce the power of the flow to just as gently return to the set power after the meal is over.

Prefilter

Capacious prefilter has as much as 0.16 gal capacity and is built into the lid of the device. It effectively traps large contaminants, thus significantly reducing the frequency of servicing the filter. The prefilter protects the filter media from faster wear, and the filter from clogging. Cleaning the prefilter itself is very simple and does not even require removing the unit from the cabinet. Just lift the lid, remove the sponge from the basket and rinse it. 

Double ball valve system

Aquarists know that a critical stage of work that requires access to the interior of the filter, is usually the disconnection of the inlet and outlet hoses from the device. The remaining water in the filter usually spills out onto the floor, which causes justifiable irritation. To avoid this, a patented system of double ball valves was used. They simultaneously close the inlet and outlet of the filter in the lid and lumen of the hoses. They thus block the uncontrolled escape of water.

Self-pouring of the filter

All you need to do is make 2 to 4 movements with the plunger and you're done. The filter will be flooded with aquarium water. Simple?

Efficiency of use

Ultramax BT guarantees the effective mechanical and biological filtration. You will apply the filter media of your choice in each of the five media baskets. Each basket has a capacity as much as 0.5 gal. This gives you a huge filtration capacity: together with the prefilter it will hold 2.67 gal of filter media! You can freely mix filter media, creating a composition best suited to your aquarium.

Discreet

The Ultramax BT filter is extremely quiet. You can easily place it in your bedroom or the room where you work. The well-thought-out design of the pump impeller and its chambers and ceramic impeller axle ensure almost inaudible operation of the filter, even at maximum flow.

You will receive the Ultramax BT filter complete with properly selected cartridges for mechanical and biological filtration. We also included the necessary accessories. This means that immediately after purchase you are assured that the filter is ready for operation. In the starter kit, you will find a set of accessories necessary to install and start the filter.

Lower power consumption

The Ultramax BT filter uses very little electricity. It has power depending on which flow rate you set - from 6.1 to only 13.5 watts at the maximum setting! This means lower electricity bills with really excellent filter performance.

Ultramax BT for your aquarium

The Ultramax BT can be adjusted to fit aquariums up to 198 gallons. Thanks to its infinitely variable adjustment, this one filter will also fit smaller aquariums as small as 26 gallons.
