The Neptune Systems Apex Variable Speed/Dimming Module (VDM) provides the ability to control advanced LED lights such as the Kessil A360W, Aqua Illumination Sol and Acan Lighting LED Lights.
If you use the Apex Lite or Apex Jr. with the Kessil A360W, you WILL need the VDM. With the Apex you will NOT need the VDM to control your A360W. The VDM will turn the light on & off and vary intensity at user defined intervals throughout the course of the day. It will also adjust the color shift from blue to white.
Aqua Illumination Sol
Aqua Illumination's Sol interface allows for the independent control of both the blue and white LEDs. In addition, sunrise/sunset, cloud and lightning simulation are also available. The VDM will work with both the two color & three color Sol Lights.
If used with your Acan Light, the Acan light must have a connection port. This port was originally standard, but is now an upgrade.
Lighting and pump modes can be changed based on conditions and events throughout the day using powerful Apex programming commands.
4 independently variable speed ports (0-10V)
Variable speed ports can be used for light dimming, Tunze stream variable speed control, or with other 0-10V compatible devices.
The VDM attaches to and is powered by the Apex system via AquaBus.
Automatic plug-n-play for easy setup and configuration.
Upgradable firmware through AquaBus.
Multi-color LED status indicator.
2 AquaBus ports for flexible system connections.
Comes with a 3 foot AquaBus cable.
Compatible with Apex, Apex Lite & Apex Jr. systems
