Polyp Ignite

Polyp stimulator amino acid, fatty acid and pigment complex for stimulating a feeding response in corals and their allies

Overview

  • Designed to trigger a strong feeding response, enhance polyp extension, and encourage vibrant coloration of all stony corals.
  • Beneficial for all corals (stony and soft), as well as solitary and colonial polyps.
  • Stimulates coral feeding.
  • Promotes new tissue growth by improving nutrient absorption from other foods.
  • Supports coral growth through budding and fission.
  • Store in a cool place, refrigeration not required.

Benefits

  • Ideal for stony corals, soft corals, and various polyps like Xenia, Anthelia, Zoanthus, Discoma, and Actinodiscus.
  • The amino acids are in their free-form state, making them easily assimilated by corals for growth and tissue repair.
  • Plays a crucial role in boosting coral colors.
  • Helps corals reproduce more rapidly under ideal conditions, aiding both sexual and asexual reproduction, especially important for fragmented corals or other means of propagation in which some tissue is damaged.
  • Works best with Reef Blizzard S and Restōr.

Technical Background

Brightwell Aquatics Polyp Ignite is a specialized supplement designed to provide stony and soft corals with the proper ratios of amino acids, fatty acids, and natural pigments to stimulate feeding response. Our formula includes bioavailable pigments such as astaxanthin, chlorophyll, carotenoids, and phycocyanin, which contain beta carotene, beta cryptoxanthin, lutein, xanthophylls, zeaxanthin, and canthaxanthin for vibrant coloration.

Instructions & Guidelines

Shake well before use. Turn off the protein skimmer and other mechanical filtration before adding Polyp Ignite. Wait 10-15 minutes after use before resuming filtration. Do not place glass dropper into aquarium water. If water enters product, refrigerate until used up.

Target Feeding (Recommended)

Use a syringe, pipette, or dropper to feed. Mix 1 to 5 ml in a small container. Discharge 2-4 inches upstream of the corals. Rinse feeding tools after use to avoid contamination.

Broadcast Feeding

Add 1 ml or more per 50 gallons of water daily in an area of rapid water movement. Wait at least 1 minute before adding other foods. The maximum dose is 5 ml per 50 gallons daily for the first few weeks; increase gradually as desired, thereafter.
