The Auto Flush Controller works together with the booster pump to improve the performance of your RO or RO/DI system.
During each startup, the controller will flush the system for 30 seconds to reduce TDS Creep. TDS Creep is the result of the RO membrane processing water at a low water pressure. This occurs each time the RODI system starts as it takes a bit of time for water pressure to build up in the system. At a very low pressure, the RO membrane does not work efficiently and water produced will have a high-TDS content. By flushing the system during start up, it allows for this high-TDS water to be flushed away.
Reducing TDS Creep not only give you better water during start up, it also helps to extend the life of your DI cartridge by not pushing this high-TDS water through the filter each time you make water.
Once you are finished making water, the Auto Flush Controller automatically flushes the system to prevent RO membrane scaling.
Working together with the Booster Pump (required and sold separately) and the Adjustable Flow Restrictor (required and sold separately), the Auto Flush Controller allows you to achieve a 1:1 Product-to-Waste Water Ratio: saving you water and money.
The Auto Flush Controller also features a built-in TDS meter to allow you to monitor system performance.
